INTRODUCTION
World Vision Cambodia (WVC) welcomes a large number of international visitors
each year.
In order to ensure the visitors have a safe and rewarding visit that fulfils
their expectations, it is important that all visits are properly planned. This
will help ensure our partners, staff and visitors all benefit from the visits.
The WVC Visitor Guidelines ensure that the visitors’ time in Cambodia is used
in the best possible way.
OBJECTIVES FOR VISITS
Every visit to WVC needs to have a clear objective. We want potential visitors
to clearly state their objectives and how the visit links to WVC’s strategic
priorities. The objectives need to be agreed to by the visitor and WVC in
writing prior to the visit.
PLANNING A VISIT
Before planning your visit, please completely review the WVC Visitor
Guidelines. The WVC Visitor Guidelines ensure that the visitors’ time in
Cambodia is used in the best way.
The following information is needed from the World Vision office coordinating

possible visit. When first contacting WVC about a possible visit, please

countries where police clearances are not available, then visitors will be
required to ensure they have completed all appropriate pre-departure reference
checks and training in line with the WVI Child Protection Policy.
Timing the visit:
To ensure adequate notification to our projects and suitable timing for police
clearance, three months advance notice of the visit and flexibility about time
is essential.

World Vision’s Security Guidelines.
