World Vision Cambodia’s Sustainable Actions to Fight Poverty Hunger and Malnutrition Project (SAFPHAM) and Farmer Livelihood Development in cooperation with Preah Vihear Health Department and Rural Development Department organized special concerts to promote health and sanitation under the theme “Our Health and Community Sanitation.”
PHNOM PENH – From December 14 to 17, 46 youth leaders from throughout Cambodia gathered in Phnom Penh to learn about human trafficking and how they can protect themselves and their communities from the tragic consequences unsafe migration.
Kim is 18 years old. She is the oldest daughter of four siblings. She thought she would earn lots of money in Thailand and that she would help her younger siblings go to school and improve their living conditions.
Kim looks sad and shares her difficult experience.
It takes around 30 minutes from the Battambang town, travelling along the national highway, and crossing onto an unpaved small road. There are lots of old small wooden houses with a dirty environment and lots of rubbish, along with an old railway.
